Dr. Lan received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2014 from Augusta University (奥古斯塔大学), USA, and his B.S. in Life Sciences in 2006 from National Tsing Hua University (国立清华大学), Taiwan. From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Lan was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Department of Integrative Biology and Pharmacology, University of Texas Medical School. 

 

Dr. Lan is experienced in GPCR, cancer biology and pharmacology research, with an emphasis on cell signaling, membrane protein trafficking, protein-protein interaction, and high throughput compound screening. He is highly skilled at CRISPR, shRNA, RNAi, RET associated assays (FRET, BRET, HTRF), ELISA, Confocal Microscopy, Transmission EM, Flow Cytometry, and ImageJ. Dr. Lan has published 7 journal articles on top journals and his journal publications have received more than 270 Google Scholar citations. Prof. Zhou received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2013 from the University of Texas at Dallas (德克萨斯大学达拉斯分校), USA, and his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2007 from Capital Medical University (首都医科大学), China. Prof. Zhou’s research interests lie in the broad areas of nano-material synthesis and the exploration of their applications in biomedical, environmental, and energy fields. He has published over 40 papers in scientific journals such as Angewandte Chemie International Editionthe Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials, and Materials Today, with over 3,000 Google Scholar citations. Prof. Li received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington (德州大学阿灵顿分校) in 2012 and her B.E. in Computer Science from Nankai University (南开大学), China, in 2005. She is now a tenured professor in a U.S. university. Her research is focused on cyber security and networking, such as privacy and security in online social networks and wireless sensor networks. Prof. Li has published many peer-reviewed papers in prestigious international conferences and journals (e.g., IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security and EEE Internet Computing). Her publications have received more than 1000 Google Scholar citations. Her projects have been funded by National Security Agency and National Science Foundation. Prof. Li was also a Faculty in Residence with Google. Prof. Li has rich experience in technical writing.

Dr. Zhao received his Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering in 2016 from National University of Singapore (新加坡国立大学), Singapore, and his B.E. in Electronic Science & Engineering in 2012 from Nanjing University (南京大学), China. From 2014 to 2016, Dr. Zhao was a research scholar at the Center for Nonlinear Dynamics at the University of Texas at Austin (德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校), USA. From 2016 to 2017, Dr. Zhao worked as a postdoctoral fellow at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (阿卜杜拉国王科技大学), Saudi Arabia.

 

Dr. Zhao has broad research interest in general physics including optics, acoustics, electromagnetism, solid mechanics, and fluid dynamics. Currently, he is exploring the areas of petrophysics and data science. Dr. Zhao has published articles on academic journals including Physical Review Letters, Energy and Environmental Science, Geophysical Research Letters, and the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America. His journal publications have received more than 790 Google Scholar citations. Dr. Zhao has also published several patents and one scholarly book "Manipulation of Sound Properties by Acoustic Metasurface and Metastructure". Dr. Zhao has rich experience in academic writing.

Then, Dr. Hsu moved to Chicago to work with Dr. Neal Mankad at the University of Illinois Chicago (伊利诺伊大学芝加哥分校) in 2016. From 2018 to 2020, Dr. Hsu was a Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on process R&D and scale up, at the Materials Engineering Research Facility, Argonne National Laboratory (阿贡国家实验室).


Dr. Hsu is experienced in organometallic chemistry, especially metal-metal multiply bonded complex synthesis, and physical organic chemistry, especially adsorption-driven molecular self-sorting.
