ICE Rescinds Restrictive Student Visa Policy

The Trump administration on Tuesday rescinded a rule that would have barred international students from the U.S. if their schools held classes entirely online because of COVID-19.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will reapply the guidance issued in March that allowed international students to remain in the U.S. even if their schools opted for online-only instruction during the pandemic.

We recommend that you consult and confirm with your schools regarding the most updated student visa policies before making any decisions or taking any actions.
